23.12.2011 Changes to the Group of Partners.
From 1st January 2011, Mario Grubenmann, Patrik Schmid and Gino Fiorentin are going to strengthen our company as partners and shareholders.
Mario Grubenmann is a business administrator and holds several postgraduate management qualifications, most notably from the London Business School. Since 2009, he is Managing Director of Wüest & Partner and as such responsible for the internal operative management of the company. In addition to that, he manages the «Central Services» department
Patrik Schmid studied architecture at the ETH Zurich and holds a master degree in Management, Technology & Economics. As co-head of the «Transaction & Management» department he mainly practices in the areas of strategy and property management. In addition to that, he is a specialist for the valuation of public and corporate property portfolios as well as specialised properties.
Gino Fiorentin is an architect (HTL) and has several years of professional experience. He also completed a postgraduate qualification in management science. As co-head of the «Portfolio & Management» department he is in charge of valuations of property portfolios. Finally, he provides consultancy services as a valuation expert to listed institutional investors.

16.9.2011 Changes to the Group of Partners.
Urs Hausmann will be leaving our company at the end of March 2012. After more than 16 years in the organisation, as of 1999 as partner and as of 2006 as Chairman of the Board, Urs has decided to seek a new challenge outside Wüest & Partner. With his expertise, he will however continue to work in an advisory capacity for the publication «Immo-Monitoring».
Urs Hausmann has played a major role in Wüest & Partner's development and has made a significant impact on the organisation. We would like to thank Urs for his great commitment and his outstanding contribution and wish him all the best for the future.
As of the 2nd quarter of 2012, Patrick Schnorf, partner and former co-head, will take over management of the Market & Research department.

29.3.2011 IPD/Wüest & Partner Swiss Annual Index 2010 has been published.
The Swiss All Property total return for 2010 was 6.1%. Once again the retail sector was the strongest sector with total returns of 6.8%. The office sector performed with 6.1% while the residential properties showed a total return of 5.8%.
