18.1.2010 On Wüest & Partner's online services platfom the localised transaction price index has been expanded by the quarterly transaction price index and has been newly designed. The products «Immobilienpreise» and «Standort- und Marktrating» have undergone minor changes in design.
8.1.2010 Changes affecting the Partners
As of January 2010, Nabil Aziz has become a Partner and shareholder in our firm. Nabil has headed our Geneva branch (Wüest & Partner SA) since May 2006. With his team, he covers the whole spectrum of Wüest & Partner business, becoming the first port of call for our clients in French-speaking Switzerland.
Dieter Marmet will be leaving our company at the end of May 2010. After almost 16 years in the organisation, Dieter has decided to seek a new professional challenge outside Wuest & Partner.

29.9.2009 Wüest & Partner is expanding its business in Germany
Wüest & Partner, the largest Swiss real estate consulting firm, is strengthening its presence in Germany. Since commencing its operations with an office in Frankfurt, the demand for independent advisory services in real estate and construction market has increased continuously. Wüest & Partner has therefore decided to complement its existing team of consultants in Germany - both with new personnel and also geographically - and has opened a new office in Berlin.
With its two branch offices Wüest & Partner's subsidiary in Germany covers the entire spectrum of services offered by Wüest & Partner and is the first point if contact for our customers with consulting needs in Germany.

17.9.2009 Züblin rotates independent appraisers
As of 30 September 2009, Züblin has engaged Wüest & Partner as its lead independent appraiser. Wüest & Partner will directly perform the valuations in Switzerland and Germany, and will coordinate the valuation activities in France, the Netherlands and Belgium.

1.5.2009 New operational Managing Director
Mario Grubenmann has been appointed to the position of Managing Director at Wüest & Partner AG as per 1st May 2009. In this new role he is responsible for the operational management of the company as well as for the management of the organisations internal administration department. Dieter Marmet, Managing Partner at Wüest & Partner, remains the company's spokesman for external enquiries. Dieter Marmet also remains responsible for the strategic coordination within Wüest & Partner.

8.4.2009 IPD/Wüest & Partner Swiss Annual Index 2008 has been published.
The Swiss All Property total return for 2008 was 6.1%. Once again the retail sector was the strongest sector with total returns of 6.5%. The weakest sector was the office market achieving total returns of 5.8%.
